The purpose of our Sunday morning Bible Study (aka Sunday School) is to lead people to faith in Jesus and to help believers grow in their faith so that they can lead others to faith in Him.
We believe that Bible study is an essential ingredient for initiating, sustaining, and encouraging Christian growth. Through weekly fellowship and interaction in Bible study, strong relationships are built and sustained within the church family. We have Sunday morning Bible Study classes for all ages beginning at 9:00 a.m., including a nursery for children ages 0-2. In these classes you will find fellow believers who enjoy studying and learning about God’s Word. We not only encourage one another in this endeavor, but we also hold one another accountable. Just being in a room with other people that are trying their best to live faithfully for Jesus is encouraging. These classes also provide a wonderful opportunity to share in Christian love and fellowship. Come join us on a Sunday, and you will discover how contagious our love for God’s Word and for His people truly is.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light for my path.”
Psa. 119:105 HCSB
We gather for worship each Sunday morning at 10:00. Our evening worship services begin at 6:30. During these times we meet as a church family to worship God through prayer, music, singing, and the preaching of God's Word. We pray that God might be glorified and that we might be changed, challenged, and encouraged.
We gather for Discipleship Training on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. Our goal is to learn more about who God is and how to serve Him faithfully as His Church. We have a mixed adult class, an adult women’s class, a youth class, and children’s classes. The children and youth often work on music and drama to present during the worship services during this time as well. A nursery is provided for children 0-2. We hope you will come and join us.
As a church we recognize that we are completely dependent upon God’s power both in our daily lives and as a church family. Therefore, we meet each Wednesday night at 6:00 pm for prayer meeting in the choir room. During this time we update our weekly prayer list, mention any new concerns, and share answered prayers. We then spend time in prayer for the concerns mentioned, for the ministries of our church, and for the community. The prayer time is followed by a brief devotion.
If you have a desire to praise the Lord in music, then Line Creek is the place for you. The choir, which is directed by Bro. Jeremy Greer, leads our church in worship every Sunday morning. In addition to leading worship, the choir performs a Christmas and Easter Cantata each year. You do not have to be a professional musician to participate in our choir. Everyone is encouraged to come and make a “joyful noise unto the Lord.” Our choir meets on Sunday evenings at 4:30 to rehearse.
Please come and join us!
